Baseball - 1983 - Baseball set

Louisville Slugger | Vintage American Baseball Set Description HOME RUN! American sporting history with character. An aluminum bat, a beautifully well-stitched leather glove, and a classic baseball. All with that wonderful old-school look that you no longer encounter in modern sports gear. This vintage set revolves around one of the best-known names in American baseball: Louisville Slugger. The silver-colored bat with its striking blue graphics is an original Louisville Slugger Official Softball, model 708, marked Made in U.S.A. The accompanying Louisville Slugger Professional 100 glove, model HBG87C, is crafted in beautiful cognac-colored Top Grain Cowhide. With its CheckMate weaving, Rawhide Lacing, and lovely natural patina, this glove has exactly the look that vintage sports enthusiasts are after. And of course a classic baseball belongs to it as well, complete with the recognizable red seams. Three iconic sporting items. One attractive vintage lot. For collectors of American sports memorabilia, baseball enthusiasts and anyone with a taste for authentic American design. Even outside the baseball field this set deserves attention. Think a rugged loft, a stylish mancave, a vintage sports bar, or an office with character. On the wall, in a display cabinet, or as a decorative ensemble on an old wooden cabinet. And with the holidays approaching? A special gift for someone who prefers a piece of American sports culture to yet another predictable Christmas present.
