Ultra-rare vintage luxury leather goods jewel for lovers of the Bugatti brand | Ettore Bugatti. This listing offers an Ettore Bugatti-branded handbag, produced in Italy by Ettore Bugatti s.r.l. between the late 1980s and early 1990s. Ettore Bugatti represented the line of ultra-luxury accessories parallel to the brand’s revival in Campogalliano, Modena (during the EB 110 era ); the maker placed the Ettore Bugatti brand on par with the leading luxury competitors, Hermès above all, in terms of quality and refinement. The piece presented here is exceptional, extremely rare, and collectible. It has an internal tag bearing the number No. 0003, identifying its size placement within the markedly iconic line of Ettore Bugatti-branded handbags. The shape of the bag, with a rounded top, is inspired by the famous Bugatti “horse shoe” grille. However, the inspiration more strongly derives from the Hermès Bolide handbag which in the 1920s was created at the suggestion of the Bugatti family. The handbag is offered with all its exceptional accessories. The golden lock with the emblem “EB” on a honeycomb background echoes the Ettore Bugatti | EB Collection logo and, in turn, references the famous Bugatti grille. Also included is the leather clochette pendant with both keys supplied. The lock and keys are fully functional. The handbag is made of premium hammered leather in black, in excellent condition for its age: dating to around 1993. Double handles and zipper work perfectly. The interior is pristine, free of stains and signs of wear, with a bright lining in excellent condition bearing the “EB” logo on the lining. Further details: the hammered leather remains in excellent preservation, free of stains, marks, and scratches. Shiny gold hardware. The leather has been kept in its original state, only lightly nourished and refreshed, with no invasive restorations or recoloring performed to preserve total authenticity and the patina of a product as extraordinary as this. As visible in the images, there is nothing to hide; the only defects are localized wear from rubbing on the edges of the lower front and back corners. There are no tears in the leather or holes, only a surface abrasion exposing the material underneath (the heart of the edge). Subtle and normal signs of time on the handles, attest to its vintage authenticity but do not compromise aesthetics. The images speak for themselves.
