B680 - 500 x 140 cm - 100% Shantung di Pura Seta –...

This refined cut of fabric represents an excellent example of pure 100% silk shantung, born from the prestigious textile tradition of the Como area. The fabric presents itself in an elegant, delicate milky-white tone. The surface has a natural satin-pearlescent sheen, typical of the highest quality silk, capable of catching the light and giving soft nuances and a shifting iridescence. Being a shantung, the surface is characterized by very subtle and pleasant slubs or weave irregularities typical of work with slubbed or dupion silk. The hand is fluid, soft yet at the same time firm and structured. The edges and selvages show meticulous workmanship with a dense, regular fringe, a guarantee of the Como artisanal craftsmanship. Size 500 x 140 cm and weighs 570 grams (approximately 81 g/m²), ideal for light but structured garments or refined home decor. * Condition: It is in good overall condition. However, minimal preservation-related defects may be present that do not detract from its value. Thanks to its generous yardage and great elegance, the fabric is perfect for: * High Fashion and Tailoring: Perfect for making wedding gowns, evening or ceremonial dresses, structured jackets, skirts with prominent pleats, and elegant capes. * Home Decor / Elite Furnishings: Ideal for luxurious draperies, valances, decorative cushions, or coverings for refined home accessories.
