INGRAVID FOREST 143 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism. This work is part of a series that sublimates what is natural and the impossible into a single vision. In “Ingravidad Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the unlikely: a forest that is not held up by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination. The reference to Magritte, and also to Dalí, is not incidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the ordinary becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play —with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows— intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere. This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature?
