Serial number: Limited Edition – No. 56 of 75 units produced worldwide. HISTORY AND DETAILS OF THE REAL MODEL: The Prodrive-developed Ferrari 550 Maranello GTS is one of the most legendary racing versions of the modern era. Under its long front hood roars an engineering masterpiece: a 5.9-liter (5,850 cm³) naturally aspirated V12 engine developing more than 600 horsepower, coupled to a 6-speed Xtrac sequential gearbox. Thanks to extensive use of carbon fiber for the bodywork, the real car’s weight was reduced to only 1,100 kg. The model presented here (Reference AB 203-S) perfectly reproduces the chassis of the Veloqx Prodrive Racing team, bearing the number 88. During the 2003 24 Hours of Le Mans, this legendary car rose to glory by brilliantly winning the GTS category (10th overall), driven by the legendary trio Peter Kox, Tomas Enge and Jamie Davies. Race: 24 Hours of Le Mans 2003 (GTS category winner) EXCEPTIONAL MINT CONDITION — "MINT IN BOX" (MIB) This model has remained in museum-worthy condition. From the private collection of a major adult Ferrari enthusiast, it has an impeccable storage history: • Strictly Never Exposed: The miniature has never seen daylight, dust, or handling. It has been kept away from UV light in a non-smoking environment (tobacco-free atmosphere). • Mint in Box (MIB): The car has never left its box, with the sole exception of the photo session for this sale. • Box, base and plexiglass dome: The entire display case (rigid plexiglass showcase, presentation base, and outer cardboard packaging) is in mint condition, free of micro-scratches or yellowing. SPECIAL TRANSPORT PROTECTION: To guarantee absolute integrity and avoid any risk of damage from transport vibrations, the imposing rear wing in resin and laser-cut parts is carefully wrapped and secured away, fixed under the miniature’s original base. It is thus protected from damage and ready to be installed by its future happy owner. AUTO BARN BRAND EXCELLENCE & MATERIALS QUALITY: Auto Barn embodies excellence in artisanal resin modeling. Unlike mass-produced zamak (die-cast) miniatures, this high-end resin model achieves a surgical level of finesse in the car body contours and aerodynamic appendages. Every aerodynamic element, every photodecal and every sponsor decal of the Veloqx Prodrive Racing team has been applied by hand with millimetric precision, meeting the strictest collector standards. AUTHENTICITY & OFFICIAL FERRARI LICENCE: The original packaging features all official holograms and Ferrari logos, ensuring the absolute authenticity of this piece under direct license with Ferrari. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PHOTOS The close-up photos attached to this listing were taken under professional lighting and reflect the strictly mint and flawless condition of the miniature and its box. They are in no way defects, scratches, discoloration, or alterations.
