AUSTRALIA. INA Retro Fantasy Platinum Crown, "1937". Edward VIII.

AUSTRALIA. INA Retro Fantasy Platinum Crown, "1937". Edward VIII. PCGS PROOF-64 Deep Cameo. cf. KMX-M15 (in silver); cf. Giordano-FC11 (same). Weight: 32.60 gms. INA (International Numismatic Agency) issue. An EXCEEDINGLY RARE and quite possibly UNIQUE retro fantasy issue in this composition. We note that this piece lacks the "DRG" (D.R. Golder) initials beneath the truncation found upon other compositions and has a slightly different bust style, seeming to correspond to the silver trial issue (Giordano-FC11, "RR") though in platinum. Fully argent and deeply contrasted, with mild hairlines in line with the assigned grade. Estimate: $5,000 - $7,000. Click here for certification details from PCGS. Image with the PCGS TrueView logo is obtained from and is subject to a license agreement with Collectors Universe, Inc. and its divisions PCGS and PSA.
