Up for auction: An extraordinary and highly collectible limited edition German Single Malt Whisky: the Aureum 1865 "Grave Digger Edition", crafted by the historic Edelobstbrennerei Gebr. J. & M. Ziegler GmbH in Freudenberg am Main, Germany. Created in collaboration with Axel Ritt, guitarist of the legendary German heavy metal band Grave Digger. This 6-year-old single malt underwent an intricate maturation process: first aged in new Allier oak casks and fresh chestnut casks, followed by a finishing period in Spanish sherry casks from Gonzalez Byass. To complete the blend, it was harmoniously married with a small proportion of peated single malt aged in ex-bourbon casks. Presented in its iconic custom black coffin-shaped display box with gold foil lettering and accompanied by the original Aureum 1865 information booklet.
