Wonderful work attributed to the painter Licinio Barzanti (Forlì, 1857 - Como, 1944) painted in oil on canvas mounted on cardboard. The painting measures 56.5 x 47.5 cm. The work is initialed in the bottom left, with inscriptions on the back. Licinio Barzanti attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence but is mostly self-taught, drawing and painting his subjects from life. He mainly creates landscapes and very colorful vases of flowers, choosing delicate color harmonies with almost shaded tones and romantic atmospheres.
