A good selection of Great War era examples including a very nice flat variant partially tissue backed eleven feathered Brevet, with crowned cream embroidered wings and a central cypher style ‘RFC’ within a brown coloured laurel wreath and crown band, a good service worn example with wear to the edges and first and second feather line; a very good cloth example Flight Sergeant’s Arm Badge with crossed propellers, centred with a four pointed star, with cream and brown stitching, very good condition; an Officer’s gilt Cap Badge of the standard die-cast voided insignia, with a crowned laurel wreath centred with ‘RFC’, the reverse with a pair gilt blade fixings, excellent condition; Officer’s Service Dress Collar Badges (2), not a matching pair, however very close, the reverses with two loop fixings, very good condition; Other Rank’s Cap Insignia (3) with a crown surmounting a voided ‘RFC’ cypher, within a wreath of laurels, the reverses with two loop fixings, good condition; with a flat cloth early example Observer’s Brevet, service worn condition (9) £260-£300.
