Antique Doll Pram for Period Dolls (Late 1800s / Early 1900s) - Wicker, Wrought Iron and Lace Splendid and sturdy original antique doll pram dating from the end of the 19th century / beginning of the 20th century. An authentic antique piece, ideal for discerning collectors, as a historical decorative element or atmospheric set design. The object stands out for a structure of great charm and solidity. It features a dense artisanal weave in wicker and rattan with spiral motifs, enriched by gold spheres along the outer edges of the cradle. The supporting frame and the shaped supports are made of heavy original wrought iron, the large wheels are built with spokes and an outer rim in iron and mounted on a robust central solid wood hub turned. The canopy with parasol retains its original lining in lace and tulle embroidered with floral motifs. Condition: The item is offered in the exact condition in which it was found in the attic, only lightly dusted. It has not undergone any modern restoration work, thus preserving greater historical integrity, the originality of all components, and the fascinating patina of time. The wicker and wood structure is solid. The iron shows natural and coherent surface oxidation due to age. The internal fabrics and the lace of the parasol (glued to the canopy frame) show the usual signs of time, with yellowing and humidity stains related to multi-decennial storage. A small tear is noted on the lace fabric of the parasol, and it also lacks the original hook for hanging. A totally authentic lot, ideal for a collection of antique toys or for those who wish to undertake a conservative restoration as a work of art. Note on shipping and transport: To guarantee maximum safety during transport and optimize costs, the supporting iron rod of the parasol is easily removable. It will be dismantled and packed separately with extreme care inside the same package to protect the original lace from any stress.
