Artemide - Vico Magistretti - Table lamp - Eclipse - Steel

Artemide Elisse lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti (1920-2006) in 1966, orange color. It won the Compasso d'Oro in 1967 and has become the worldwide representative of design. Eclisse is a cutting-edge balance between form and function, design and utility. The basis of the concept lies in its ability to regulate light intensity through the rotating inner shade that "eclipses" the light source. Indeed, with a fixed outer spherical shell and a mobile inner semi-spherical shell, the lamp can provide direct or diffused light. Born as a table lamp, it can also be wall-mounted. Eclisse is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
