Artemide - Enzo Mari

Looking for the element capable of radically transforming your living space without taking up floor space? The wall-mounted swivel lamp Aggregato, designed by the Maestro of Italian design Enzo Mari for Artemide in 1976, is not a simple light source: it is a genuine architectural sculpture in relief. Thanks to its extendable telescopic arm and its theatrical conical shade with a textured matte finish, this work creates a magnetic and sophisticated focal point above any sofa, dining table, or study area. Placing it in your environment instantly elevates the interior with a piece of pure international design history. In 1976, Enzo Mari — one of the brightest and most rigorous minds in 20th century industrial design — created the Aggregato system for Artemide. The revolutionary idea at the heart of the project was modularity: to create essential, technical, and interchangeable elements (clamps, counterweights, joints, arms, and diffusers) capable of combining into infinite configurations. Enzo Mari’s work has been awarded five Compassi d’Oro over his career, and his pieces are included in the permanent collections of the world’s most prestigious museums, including MoMA in New York and the Triennale di Milano. Founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi, Artemide represents the pinnacle of Made in Italy lighting. Renowned for collaborating with the world’s greatest architects and for earning the sector’s highest international accolades, Artemide has made icons like Aggregato synonymous with technical innovation and timeless beauty. The textured surface of the dark shade preserves its rich material grain, while the aluminum and metal joints and sliding mechanisms retain their original functionality. An unmissable opportunity for collectors, interior designers, or art enthusiasts who wish to acquire a historic and increasingly rare piece on the design antique market. The specimen offered presents itself in vintage condition. SEE PHOTO for the actual state of the product, as it is an integral part of the description.
