artdanaux côté Akoun - La danse des couleurs

Title: The Dance of Colors Artist: Julien Danaux — Artdanaux Year of creation: 2025 Technique: Oil on Canson paper Dimensions: 21 × 29.7 cm Support: Canson paper Framing: Work sold unframed Work: Original and unique Description of the work With The Dance of Colors, Julien Danaux, aka Artdanaux, offers a figurative composition free and expressive, where the spontaneity of the pictorial gesture occupies a central place. On a light background, an elongated silhouette is drawn through red, black and yellow lines, accompanied by touches of color that energize the whole. Nearby, the presence of a dark bird introduces a visual dialogue between the human figure, the movement and the surrounding space. The brushstrokes, deliberately irregular outlines, and chromatic contrasts give the work a particular energy. The composition favors expression and suggestion rather than a strictly realistic representation, leaving the viewer free to interpret the scene. Blue provides a horizontal line that structures the composition, while touches of red, yellow and green reinforce its visual intensity. The whole creates a balance between spontaneity, movement and graphic exploration. Created in 2024 in oil on Canson paper, this original work testifies to an instinctive approach to painting, in which gesture, color and form participate in a personal expression. Additional information This work is offered unframed, allowing its future owner to choose a frame suited to their interior and aesthetic preferences. An original painting of intimate format, that will find its place in a collection of contemporary figurative and expressive art, or in a living space where it will bring a colorful and singular presence.
