Armando Simoni Club - Portofino - No reserve price - Fountain pen

The Armando Simoni Club fountain pen features a striking orange-toned resin finish, very vivid and luminous, giving it a strong aesthetic personality. The overall condition is excellent, showing very careful use. The body and cap maintain a uniform and attractive shine, with a well-preserved surface and no color loss. Only extremely light micro marks from use are visible, practically imperceptible to the naked eye and typical of occasional handling. No cracks, dents, or structural defects are observed. The metal elements, with a gold finish — clip, rings and decorative details — are in very good condition, preserving their shine and with no significant signs of wear. The central ring with geometric decoration appears sharp and well defined, adding elegance to the ensemble. The nib, also in gold finish with the brand's characteristic decorative engraving, is in excellent condition, with no deformations or visible wear. The nib tines are correctly aligned and the feed is clean, ensuring an adequate writing flow. The pen has been serviced and is delivered fully operational and ready for use. The closing system works smoothly and precisely, ensuring a firm cap fit. It comes with its original Armando Simoni Club box, in good condition, which completes the piece and adds value to the set. Conservation recommendations To preserve the pen in optimal condition, it is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically for fountain pens, avoid pigmented inks, clean with lukewarm water if not used for a while, dry it completely before storage, keep it in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures, and always operate the mechanism gently. Happy bidding!
