Antonio Sciacca (1957) - Visione morandiana

Antonio Sciacca Oil on canvas 50x70 Title: Morandian Vision Signed: front and back This is an extremely interesting work by master Antonio Sciacca, entitled Morandian Vision. In this acrylic on canvas 50x70, Sciacca achieves an extremely concise synthesis of Morandian elements, transforming the shapes of objects into fields of pure color. The acrylic technique allows Sciacca to work with substantial thicknesses. The brushstrokes are broad, decisive, almost spatulated. The surface is not smooth, but alive, full of gestural energy, which gives the painting a striking modernity. The work is clearly signed in the lower right, confirming the authorship of this fascinating abstract exploration. The work will be shipped with professional packaging and tracked shipping.
