Splendid unique work by Master Antonio Sciacca, a leading figure in contemporary Italian painting. The work celebrates the timeless myth of Diabolik and Eva Kant, highlighting the cover and pages of the original issue "Delinquenza all'assalto" (Anno XII, n. 25, published 10 December 1973). Sciacca reassembles these rare period fragments from the '70s into a dynamic three‑dimensional layered collage. Reworking the great lesson of Pop Art (in the wake of Roy Lichtenstein’s visual language) and surpassing the classic decollage of Mimmo Rotella, the artist gives new sculptural form and material value to the history of auteur comics. The work is part of the famous and prestigious series "Il crimine non ha confini", born from the cultural project conceived by Master Sciacca together with Prof. Vittorio Sgarbi to dignify and historicize comics in contemporary art. Cinema tie-in: This collection was created in conjunction with the theatrical release of the Diabolik film trilogy signed by the Manetti Bros, and it was the centerpiece of an official touring exhibition in major Italian cinemas and cultural spaces. Publication & Pedigree: The work is officially documented and published on page 68 (full page) in the art volume "L'arte incontra l'arte" (Vol. 1, Archive Code: WA00148). An impeccable pedigree guaranteeing authenticity and safeguarding its market value over time. Why invest in this work: Historical Rarity: Uses original albums and clippings from the famous 10 December 1973 issue, turning a piece of comic history into a unique work of art. Museum/Collection Piece: Full-page publication in the official catalog makes it fully traceable and of the highest collecting prestige. Italian Pop Icon: Fuses Pop aesthetics with the myth of Diabolik with great contemporary painting. The Sciacca - Sgarbi pairing gives the work strong critical and exhibition value. The work will be shipped with professional protective packaging and with tracked and insured shipping via express courier.
