Toutes les enchères / Autres / Antoni Rosich (1896 - 1958) - Luz en el Campo
School: Spanish School (20th century) ㅤ Author: Antoni Rosich ㅤ Style: Post-Impressionist landscape painting ㅤ Technique: Oil on Táblex panel ㅤ Condition: Overall good state of conservation, with signs of age and use consistent with the period. ㅤ Artistic circle and influence: The work is part of the tradition of Spanish landscape painting of the 20th century, with a clear post-impressionist approach based on the subjective interpretation of color and a visible, spontaneous brushstroke. The treatment of vegetation, built up with small impastos and fragmented brushstrokes, shows affinities with Mediterranean currents derived from Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, where light and chromaticity take on greater importance than a meticulous representation of the landscape. ㅤ Antoni Rosich developed his artistic production within Spanish figurative painting of the 20th century, showing particular interest in the landscape. His pictorial language is characterized by a direct interpretation of nature, expressive use of color, and loose brushwork, elements also present in this composition. ㅤ The work depicts a wide rural landscape viewed from an elevated position. In the foreground, a twisting-trunk tree stands out, rendered with vigorous brushstrokes and green, yellow, and ochre tones. From this element, the eye enters a sequence of fields, small elevations and masses of vegetation that lead to an open and luminous horizon. ㅤ The composition is built with overlapping chromatic planes in greens, purples, bluish tones, ochres and yellows. The brushstroke, clearly perceptible and of somewhat material density, gives dynamism to the landscape and allows representing the effects of light without resorting to overly defined drawing. The sky, treated with light and bluish tones, broadens the depth of the scene and contrasts with the stronger chromatic intensity of the foreground. ㅤ The work is presented with a wide, gold wooden frame with an ornate profile, composed of different stepped levels. Its classic finish creates a marked contrast with the modern and colorful brushwork of the landscape. It shows signs of use and small marks characteristic of its age. ㅤ Observations: The work may incur damage during transport even with proper packaging. In that case, we will require photographs of the defects to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by an surcharge due to causes such as being outside a continental territory, exceeding measurements or weight of the item. PremiArt will not cover this surcharge under any circumstances. ㅤ The courier that must pass through the Swiss border can be much more delayed than normal, so, if possible, to speed up the process, we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so the client can unlock it and thus reach its destination. Experience has shown that this is the most effective solution for both parties. ㅤ Due to the high volume of shipments, the order may be delayed more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience. If you have any questions about your order, please contact us via internal messaging. ㅤ Measurements: 25 × 21 cm Measurements with frame: 26 × 31 cm
