A stunning purple amethyst takes centre stage in this 1930s cluster ring. The round cut gemstone weighs an impressive 12.00 carat, rub over set in 18 carat yellow gold and framed by a halo of old cut diamonds totalling 1.40 carat. Each diamond matches in quality at G in colour and VS in clarity. The diamonds are claw set in platinum and sit upon a handcrafted basket and band of contrasting 18 carat yellow gold.
