Andrea Roux (XX-XXI) - La luce radente

Oil painting on canvas from a collection, large size. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Andrea Roux and with a double gallery stamp. Title: Raking Light Dimensions: 60x60 cm Year: 2025 Andrea Roux was born in Nice in 1989 to an Italian-French family and lives and works in Italy. His oil painting focuses on the face as an emotional and symbolic space, through large close-ups in which eyes, lips, and fragments of the face take on iconic power. Inspired by the European classical tradition and Italian chiaroscuro, Roux builds images suspended between contemporary figuration and memory, where the gaze becomes the center of a silent and intense tension. His research finds expression in the series “Custodi dello sguardo.” www.instagram.com/lagalerie991/ NB: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipping.
