Ancient Roman Glass Grande Patelle - 66 mm

Large translucent pale-green glass patella with convex walls, vertical-edge lip and an upper and lower finished edge. It rests on a hollow base formed by a flared annular foot; the bottom of the patella has been pinched on the outer edge and pushed inward at the center, creating a bottom with a rippled appearance.
