Silver-plated encapsulated pendant, for better preservation, with a bronze from Ancient Greece, from the Hellenistic period. Minted between 50-30 BC, with mint in the city-state of Perge in the Pamphylian region, under a civic government. It is mounted on a modern 925 silver cord chain. In this era, free cities like Perge issued their own coins to honor their protective deity, in this case Artemis Pergaea. Obverse: a distyle temple, inside which appears a cult statue of the goddess Artemis. Reverse: bow and quiver, hunting tools of the goddess Artemis, alongside the Greek inscription "Artemidos Pergaia" – Of Artemis of Perge – It ships with a legal declarations sheet. Customs duties outside the EU will be borne by the auction winner.
