Anatomical model - Wood, Resin - 2023 - Fetal triptych model

Anatomical Evolution – Triptych of Life and Death This artistic triptych offers a suggestive reflection on the relationship between birth, anatomy and mortality, through three elements that evoke different aspects of the structure of the human skull: the infant face, the skull, and the brain. The reproductions, hand-coloured, feature accurate anatomical details and realistic finishes, enhanced by being mounted on dark wood supports that give the piece an essential and contemporary character. The contrast between the face of the newborn, symbol of innocence and the beginning of life, the skull, universal emblem of the transience of existence, and the brain, seat of thought and consciousness, transforms the composition into a small Wunderkammer dedicated to the mysteries of human nature. The work unites scientific cues, anatomical aesthetics and artistic sensibility, reinterpreting the language of teaching models in a decorative and conceptual key. Unique piece signed and numbered, entirely hand-coloured, ideal for collectors of anatomical curiosities, contemporary art and objects with a strong visual impact.
