In this series, with reminiscences of brutalism, I paint dense, heavy spaces, almost monumental. Within them there is always a small and solitary figure, inhabiting the silence without fear. I am drawn to the tension between the mass of color and the body, between the rigidity of concrete and the apparent fragility of the figure.
