An Embroidered Silk Painting of Plum Blossoms, with Signature 20th Century

An Embroidered Silk Painting of Plum Blossoms, with Signature 20th Century A rare and finely executed embroidered silk painting depicting blossoming plum branches. Worked directly onto silk, the composition features delicate pink embroidered plum blossoms set against naturally rendered branches, demonstrating the artist's accomplished technique and meticulous attention to detail. The blossoms are finely articulated in subtle shades of pink, while the carefully worked branches provide a naturalistic contrast and lend depth and vitality to the composition. The signature of the artist is embroidered or inscribed at the upper left corner. The work retains its original mounting, adding to its historical and decorative appeal. There are condition issues consistent with age and prolonged storage, including minor imperfections to the silk and mounting. Professional remounting is recommended. An elegant decorative work of Chinese textile art, particularly suitable for display as a traditional Chinese artwork in a refined interior.
