An Augsburg Régence silver-gilt communion garniture

An Augsburg Régence silver-gilt communion garniture Comprising a water ewer, a wine ewer and an oval tray. The ewers with bulbous, tapering bodies; the hinged covers with the letters A and V forming the thumb rests. Rich repoussé and finely chased Régence decoration with strapwork and trelliswork on a punched ground. Height of the ewers approx. 13 cm; length of the tray 29.5, width 22.5 cm, total weight 692 g. Marks of Franz Thaddäus Lang, 1734 - 1736.
