An 18th century brass eight day longcase clock movement striking on a gong, the 12-inch brass breakarch dial with silvered Old Father Time boss to the arch above a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and outer Arabic minutes, the foliate engraved centre with subsidiary seconds and date aperture and inscribed 'John Smith London', all cornered with cast and pierced gilt spandrels, within a later oak longcase clock case with eagle surmount and swan neck pediment, height 215cm, with pendulum and two weights.
