Amsterdsmse School - Side table - Oak wood

This is an authentic oak side table, a beautiful example of the Amsterdam School style from the 1920s-1930s. The design is immediately recognizable by its expressive, sculptural shapes and the artisanal craftsmanship that is so characteristic of this Dutch art movement. The table is entirely crafted from solid oak with a warm, natural finish that beautifully brings out the wood grain. The design consists of two round surfaces, a larger top and a smaller lower shelf that are connected by four sturdy legs. These legs have the typical, slightly flared shape at the bottom, which gives the table a solid yet elegant appearance. For its age the table is in very good condition and well maintained, with a character that suits a vintage piece of furniture. The construction is solid and the wood has developed a beautiful, deep color over the years. This piece of furniture is a testament to durable and timeless design. This versatile table is perfect as a side table beside a sofa or armchair, as a plant stand in a bright corner, or as a stylish stage for a lamp or decorative object. It fits effortlessly into both a classic and a modern interior where it adds a touch of historical charm. Height is 59.5 cm Top surface is 48.5 cm Ø Lower shelf is 29 cm Ø See the photos for more details. Carefully packed and shipped by registered mail.
