Rodrigo Alonso Cuesta (Burgos, 1982). Resides in Spain. This graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca and in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Burgos has had a distinguished academic background, complemented by experiences abroad thanks to Erasmus scholarships he undertook in Portugal and Belgium. His artistic activity focuses mainly on oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, digital art, and paper, where he creates paintings, drawings, and collages. His style is characterized by a rich, vivid, and expressive color palette, as well as a plastic compositional style with dynamic and unusual perspectives, influenced by his passion for analog photography. This artist has participated in numerous exhibitions at the national level, with a special focus in northern Spain. For over 20 years, he has presented his work in various towns such as Burgos, Teruel, Vitoria, and Salamanca, where his work is especially recognized. He has also won painting prizes at both national and international levels, which demonstrates his talent and recognition in the artistic field. Recently, he won the prize of the III Motril Art Contest. 2024. In addition to his presence in exhibitions, his works are part of multiple private collections around the world. This shows that his work is appreciated not only by the general public but also by collectors and art lovers who value his unique style and technical skill. In summary, this graduate in Fine Arts and Audiovisual Communication has built a distinguished artistic career, focused on oil painting, acrylic, digital art, paper, and watercolor. His work is characterized by a rich color range, a plastic compositional style, and unusual perspectives. With numerous national and international exhibitions and awards, his work is part of private collections around the world.
