Alfa Romeo - Spider Series IV - 1991

HISTORY/PANORAMA: The Alfa Romeo Spider (Fourth Series), introduced in 1990 and designed by the Pininfarina Style Center, represents the latest evolution of the legendary Duetto spider. Characterized by bumpers color-matched to the body, electric mirrors, and a redesigned rear end with continuous taillights, it combines the classic open-drive experience with a more modern, clean aesthetics. This 1991 example presents in overall good condition and is roadworthy. Purchased previously on the Catawiki platform, the car has remained unused and idle for several years, and is now offered for a new revival on the road. BODYWORK/PAINTWORK: The body is overall in good condition, finished in the classic white color with partial repaint work carried out over time. From the seller’s notes and visual inspection, there are some signs and scratches from use, a front bumper imperfection, rust spots (notably at the door joints), and the absence of the rear antenna cap. The alloy wheels show some light wear. The black canvas soft top is in good overall condition with normal signs of aging. The left electrical window glass does not function, and the electric mirrors do not operate. INTERIOR: The cabin remains in good overall condition, showing the usual signs of time and age. The seats show light wear on the upholstery, and the steering wheel has a patina of time. The seller notes the non-functioning of the interior ventilation fan. MECHANICS: The car is roadworthy, but due to years of inactivity it requires general maintenance and a full check-up. The engine occasionally displays a slight irregularity or hesitation (it “stumbles”), the cooling fan warning light is on the instrument panel, while the battery has been replaced with a new unit. The braking system and tires are in good usable condition. The service history and service book are not available.
