Alessi - Zaha Hadid - Centrepiece - ''Niche'' - Melamine Black

The Niche item holder was designed by Zaha Hadid in 2009 for Alessi. Crafted from black melamine, the holder consists of 5 distinct elements that can be assembled in multiple configurations. The name ''Niche'' implies some specific part of a large whole which refers to each piece of the holder that can be assembled as one. Niche is a perfect example of Hadid's explorational style towards fragmentary geometry and fluid forms. Besides serving as a holder for items, like food or office stationery, Niche can be seen as a sculpture. The item holder is in new and unused condition. Delivered with original packaging.
