Queen Chin Salt, Pepper and Spice Grinder, designed by Stefano Giovannoni in collaboration with Rumiko Takeda, for Alessi. This iconic design object is part of the collection "The Chin Family", born in 2007 from a prestigious collaboration between the Italian brand Alessi and the National Palace Museum of Taiwan. Made of sturdy thermoplastic resin and entirely hand-decorated. The appearance recalls that of a graceful Chinese empress with a blue dress featuring floral motifs. The head serves as a handy handle to operate the internal grinding mechanism, adjustable to grind salt, pepper, and herbs finely or coarsely.
