Alessandro Gambetti (1959) - Apple

Splendid and evocative original painting on paper by the Italian artist and master Alessandro Gambetti (born in Vicchio del Mugello in 1959), titled "Apple". The work unfolds horizontally and presents a refined sequence of five expressive female faces that fade chromatically from left to right. The stylistic traits clearly echo the great painting tradition of 20th-century Italy. The composition is enriched by a strong symbolic and alchemical component: in the upper part the title "A-P-P-L-E" is shown in capital letters, while beneath each face the artist has inserted a classic astrological planetary symbol (Sun, Moon, Venus, Uranus, Mars). Artist: Alessandro Gambetti (1959) Title of the work: Apple Technique: Watercolor and gouache on paper Signature: Hand-signed in original in pencil by the artist on the lower margin Era: Contemporary Condition: Excellent overall condition, vivid colors and well-preserved paper Framing: The work is sold complete with a protective frame with a gilded profile and glass (ready to hang)
