Aleš Vašíček - Vase - Glass

A thick-walled glass Unica vase in very good condition designed by the well-known Czech designer Aleš Vašíček in his own workshop in 2005 and thus marked on the bottom. He received his training at the prestigious Academy of Applied Arts in Prague and studied there under the legendary glass master Stanislav Libenský. Although he is worldwide known for his monumental abstract sculptures of cast glass, this blown object perfectly reflects his fascination with geometric patterns, dynamic organic shapes, and the interaction with light. This vase is 52 cm tall and is marked on the bottom. The vase has two white spots and a few air bubbles in the glass, but this is certainly not distracting!!
