Airborne International - Olivier Mourgue - Armchair - High Joker - Leather

An iconic design 'HIGH JOKER' lounge chair, designed in 1964 by the French designer Olivier Mourgue for Airborn International. It concerns the version with the high backrest. SITTING: The foam rubber of the seat cushion has degraded over the years and needs to be replaced, which can be done via the zipper in the seat cushion. FRAME: The chrome-plated flat steel frame still shines beautifully after all these years; at two spots on the corners of the legs the chrome is damaged (see detail photos). LEATHER: The black leather has a wonderful characterful vintage patina. DIMENSIONS: Height 98 cm, width 80 cm, depth 75 cm. The lounge chair must be collected.
