AIIROH - Never Give Up Blue Glitter - Sculpture bois

THE ARTIST Aiiroh is a French artist born in Narbonne in 1987. Rooted in graffiti culture and street art, he developed early in the 2000s a body of work around stenciling, collage, and urban posters. His universe draws notably from Pop Art, New Pop Art, and the poster artist movement, with references to artists such as Raymond Hains, Jacques Villeglé, François Dufrêne, or Mimmo Rotella. Aiiroh subverts the codes of advertising, major brands, and icons of popular culture to explore their influence on our collective imagination and our relationship to consumption. His compositions mix acrylic paint, spray paint, stencil, collage, and mixed media, in a colorful, energetic visual language that is immediately identifiable. Present in many galleries in France and internationally, Aiiroh has had his works exhibited and collected in Europe, the United States, and Asia. He has also participated in various projects and collaborations with players in the luxury, gastronomy, and contemporary art worlds. His work seeks above all to preserve the energy and spontaneity of the street while translating them into a contemporary, popular, and decidedly optimistic aesthetic.
