A Victorian garnet and diamond pendant/brooch circa 1860

an oval cabochon garnet at the centre, within a curved garnet set frame, accented by old cushion shaped diamonds at the cardinal points. Further embellished with four diamond set fleur-de-lys motifs and a scrolling surmount, suspending a cabochon garnet and rose cut diamond drop. With brooch and pendant fittings, Length 6.3cm; width 3.3cm; 23.4g, Condition Report, Condition Report, One rose cut diamond is missing from a fleur-de-lys panel. Principal diamonds approximately 4.0 to 4.5mm, tinted colour. Round cabochon garnet in drop, showing wear to surface. Removable brooch fittings possibly replaced.
