Toutes les enchères / Verrerie / A SCARCE DIVISION ONE PICTORIAL POPPER GLASS BUTTON

1 Large medium late 19th C. key shanked realistic SCARAB example. From the collection and selling stock of Lou Yeargain of Missouri. I have never seen or had any button like this before. In speaking to the Popper experts and the Scarab collectors, they too were quite amazed to see this rare example. Leo Popper was a glass maker in the late 1800's into the 1900's and made lots of foil imbedded glass that collectors are very fond of. Tis RARE realistic molded green glass has the multi colored embedded foil in a Tortoise coloration in the body of the scarab. A very unusual and cool button to add to any collection. Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above Date or Era: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918 Condition Request Condition Report PLEASE NOTE: These buttons for the most part are antique and may have age related wear.
