A COMMONWEALTH OAK SIDE TABLE MID 17TH CENTURY 68cm high, 79cm wide, 52cm deep Condition Report: Marks, scratches, cracks, chips and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some repairs and restorations as is often the case with early oak: the legs reduced from the original height, the drawer runners are later replacements, the underside of the pine drawer linings are worn to the runner area; some dark staining; some probably later dowels to fix the top; the drawer handle is later and of fitting design There is some evidence of old worm. The table top has an edge moulding to all four sides. An appealing neat-sized table with interesting baluster and block turned legs and front stretcher.
