A CHINESE EXPORT SILVER MODEL OF A JUNK
early 20th Century, modelled with three masts and battened lugsails chased throughout in imitation of matting, with twisted wire rigging and pierced pennants to the mastheads, the deck fitted with a louvred deckhouse, cannon, spars and figures of the crew including a helmsman at the tiller, the hull applied with chased roundels and hung with an anchor on a chain, upon a carved hardwood stand modelled as rolling waves. 18.5cm high
