5 IRON METEORITES. Aletai (China, 1898). WITHOUT RESERVE PRICE. - 90 g

The Aletai meteorite was first discovered in China in 1898, although for years specimens from this great meteor shower were known by various names, such as Armanty, Ulasitai, or Xinjiang. They are metallic meteorites composed mainly of iron and nickel, with a structure that places them in the octahedrite group. Like the Earth's core is iron, meteorites like these come from the cores of large asteroids that have already disintegrated due to enormous collisions with others in the ongoing formation and transformation that the Solar System has undergone from its beginnings to the present day. In this lot we present a batch of 5 authentic Aletai metallic meteorites, with flat faces due to their octahedral nature. Ideal for collectors, for making jewelry, or for resale, in perfect condition. An excellent opportunity to purchase these wonders of the universe. All of our meteorites come with a certificate of authenticity. We belong to the world's leading meteorite-related associations: IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association), GMA (Global Meteorite Association), and The Meteoritical Society. We guarantee the authenticity of all our meteorites for life. Shop with guarantees. Best regards and our very best wishes. CRATER METEORITES
