A group of three hand-painted ceramic figurines with a matte finish. The lot includes two seated children"a boy and a girl"both positioned in a reading pose. The girl has blonde hair with a large red bow and wears a red and white polka-dot dress with a green apron, while the boy wears a green tunic, an orange shirt, and a blue neckerchief. The third piece is a standing figurine of a young chimney sweep dressed in a black uniform and a top hat, carrying a ladder and a broom. The base of each piece is detailed with a Goebel Hummel trademark stamp. The two reading "Bookworm" figurines feature an expansive, early-period oval paper label with a dual-bordered circular configuration displaying a central crown graphic, surrounded by the corporate brand lettering: "Fabrikat Modern Wien."
