12 bottles from the COSTE-UBESSE estate, Le Cazal 2023 cuvée in Pic Saint-Loup. The Coste-Ubesse wine comes from two neighboring parcels of syrah totaling barely 3 hectares and cultivated organically. This hillside plot located in the commune of Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers in Hérault is a clay-limestone rocky slope on fractured marls oriented to the north (Ubesse = Ubac, meaning north in Occitan). “An elegant and light but gourmand organic red Pic Saint-Loup, with subtle aromas of red fruit and licorice, slightly spicy. It is made primarily from syrah with a little Grenache.
