The 2022 vintage of Château L’Étoile de Viaud showcases the region’s signature Merlot character, blended with a touch of Cabernet Franc for structure and complexity. On the nose, it reveals inviting aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, and subtle notes of cedar and toast. The palate is round and supple, with fine tannins, balanced acidity, and a lingering, elegant finish. Aged partially in oak barrels, this wine offers both immediate pleasure and short-term ageing potential. Perfect with grilled red meats, duck breast, or a selection of aged cheeses.
