Toutes les enchères / Vins & Alcools / 2022 Chateau du Melin
Château de Melin – Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune 2022 Pinot Noir | Côte de Beaune | France A vibrant and elegant expression of Burgundy’s signature grape, grown high on the limestone slopes west of Beaune. The 2022 vintage of Château de Melin’s Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune captures the purity and grace of Pinot Noir at altitude — bright fruit, soft texture, and a whisper of earth. Character & Style This is classic cool-climate Burgundy: fresh red fruit, fine tannins, and an underlying minerality that gives tension and lift. The sunny 2022 vintage adds a touch of generosity, making it both approachable and refined. Tasting Notes Appearance: bright ruby red with hints of violet. Nose: aromas of wild strawberries, red cherries, and raspberries, layered with subtle notes of rose petal, spice, and a touch of forest floor. Palate: silky and precise, with lively acidity balancing supple fruit. The tannins are fine-grained, giving structure without weight. A long, elegant finish reveals notes of red currant and mineral freshness. Food Pairing A perfect match for roast chicken, duck, charcuterie, grilled vegetables, or mushroom-based dishes. Serve slightly cool, around 15–16 °C (59–61 °F). Cellaring Potential Delightful now for its youthful energy, but capable of maturing gracefully over the next 5–7 years, gaining complexity and subtle earthy tones. In Short A pure and graceful Pinot Noir — delicate yet confident, bright yet grounded. Château de Melin’s Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune 2022 captures the quiet beauty of Burgundy’s hills: where light, soil, and patience come together in perfect harmony.
