16/20 RVF 100% Pinot Noir, Organic. aromas of raspberry, black cherry, touch of oak. Full-bodied, dense and concentrated with refined tannins and a smooth finish ; made with finesse. Grapes from 55-year old vines. Aged for 18 months in used French oak barrels. Bottled at the domaine. Drinking well now and will cellar through 2034. Established by Jean-Claude Rateau in 1979, this 10-hectare Organic domaine is in the Côtes de Beaune just above the prestigious Première Cru parcels. Jean-Claude was the pioneer of organic and biodynamic methods in his region. His wines are known for their purity, luminosity and freshness. Shipped from France.
