Branko, Chardonnay 2021 DESCRIPTION: Producer: Branko Wine: Chardonnay Vintage: 2021 Number of Bottles: 4 Size: 0.75L Grapes: 100% Chardonnay Alc.: 14,5% Following hand-harvesting, 80% of the wine is aged in steel tanks to preserve the fruit's fragrance and freshness intact, while the remaining 20% ​​matures in 400-liter *tonneaux*. This choice is crucial: the large wooden vessels provide just enough oxygenation to lend the wine structure and longevity, without ever overpowering the Chardonnay’s varietal aromas with excessive toasted notes. Brilliant, luminous straw-yellow in color, it offers a highly complex aromatic profile. Distinct notes of medlar, apricot, and citrus stand out, eventually giving way to an elegant trail of sweet spices. On the palate, it is delightfully mineral and true to the promise of the nose. The finish is balanced and lingers pleasantly.
