2019 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia

2x Wooden Cases (OWC) Ornellaia 2019 "Il Vigore" - Bolgheri DOC Superiore (Total: 12 Bottles) Exceptional lot for collectors and investors: at auction, as many as two original wooden cases (OWC) sealed, containing a total of 12 bottles (0.75L) of Ornellaia 2019 "Il Vigore", one of the most acclaimed and sought-after vintages ever of the legendary Super Tuscan. The added value of this lot lies in the Vendemmia d'Artista project of Tenuta dell'Ornellaia: for the 2019 vintage, artists Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg interpreted the character of the vintage, defining it as "Il Vigore". Within each 6-bottle case there is 1 bottle with the exclusive limited-edition art label, making the lot even rarer (in total you will have 10 classic labels and 2 artist labels). Blend: 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc Condition: Perfect. Fill level, capsules and labels intact. Wines have been stored since purchase in a private cellar at controlled temperature and humidity. The 2019 vintage reflects extraordinary power and energy. On the nose, it presents an intense bouquet of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, tobacco, and balsamic notes of sage. On the palate it is powerful, enveloping and dense, supported by a velvety tannic weave and an infinitely persistent and fresh finish. A wine with exceptional aging potential (well over 25–30 years). International Critics' Scores Robert Parker (Wine Advocate): 97/100 James Suckling: 97/100 Antonio Galloni (Vinous): 97/100 Falstaff: 98/100 Shipping and Packaging: The bottles will be shipped protected inside their original wooden cases.
