Serving temperature: 18–20 °C (it is advisable to uncork 1–2 hours before serving). Curiosities about the winery and producer A Tribute to the Origins: This wine represents the homage that his children Igino, Gian Franco and Anna Maria wanted to dedicate to their father Pietro Dal Cero, founder of the modern winery and originally from Valpolicella (Luxinum/Tregnago), before the family moved to Sirmione on Lake Garda. Prolonged Maturation: Produced only in the best vintages from vineyards in the municipality of Tregnago, Pietro Dal Cero Amarone undergoes a long withering process of the grapes of over 4 months, followed by 24 months of maturation in wooden casks and a long bottle rest thereafter.
