2014 Barons de Rothschild

Appearance A beautiful pale gold color with crystalline reflections. Nose The captivating freshness with aromas of apricot and nectarine gradually gives way to a lovely chalky minerality. Notes of toasted almond, lightly toasted bread, and praline enhance the complexity of this seductive nose. Palate The fresh and ample attack, driven by a saline minerality, then opens up to aromas of candied lemon and nectarine. The characteristic texture of this cuvée supports a long finish, culminating in a spicier, roasted dimension.
