2011 Marchesi Antinori, Tignanello - Tuscany IGT - 1 Bottle (0.75L) The 2011 Tignanello from Marchesi Antinori is one of the most iconic labels in the world of wine, a cornerstone of the “Super Tuscan” movement. Produced exclusively by the historic Tenuta Tignanello in the heart of Chianti Classico, this wine originates from a savvy blend of 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. The 2011 vintage stands out for extraordinary expressive richness. In appearance it shows an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. On the nose it offers a mature and multifaceted bouquet: dominated by plum flesh and cherry, evolving toward fresh notes of mint, licorice, sweet tobacco and oriental spices. On the palate it is dense, velvety and extraordinarily harmonious, supported by vibrant acidity and polished tannins that guarantee exceptional aging potential. The aging took place for about 13-15 months in barriques of mostly French oak, followed by a further 12 months in bottle before release.
